TabManna is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

The TabManna Chrome extension stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Installation date — Used to track your 7-day trial period
  • Last shown date — Ensures you see only one devotion per day
  • Subscription status — Whether you have an active subscription
  • Saved favorites — Devotions you choose to save (with date saved)
  • Streak data — Your consecutive days of reading devotions
  • Anonymous user ID — A randomly generated identifier (not linked to you personally)

Anonymous usage analytics

To improve TabManna, we collect anonymous usage data including:

  • Extension installs — When the extension is first installed
  • Devotion opens — When you view your daily devotion
  • Feature usage — Favorites saved and devotions shared
  • Trial progress — Which day of your trial you're on
  • Operating system — General platform (Windows, Mac, etc.)

This data is linked to a randomly generated ID, not your personal identity. When you subscribe, your email is linked to this ID to verify your subscription status. We use this data solely to understand how TabManna is used and to improve the product.

What we don't collect

  • Your browsing history
  • Personal information (unless you subscribe)
  • Data from other tabs or websites
  • Keystroke or form data

Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. When you subscribe:

  • Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe
  • We never see or store your credit card details
  • Stripe may store your email for receipts and subscription management

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through the Stripe customer portal.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • Upstash — Anonymous analytics data storage
  • Vercel — Website hosting and analytics
  • Google Fonts — Typography (Cormorant Garamond, DM Sans)

Data security

Local data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the extension. Anonymous analytics data is automatically deleted 30 days after your trial ends (if you don't subscribe). Subscriber data is retained while your subscription is active. We use HTTPS for all web communications.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
